Wow! You did this yourself?! :jawdrop:
It's really good! I loved how you stuck with the Heavyarms in the Series
Great job tonning down the red or orange?
I have a Model Kit on Deathscythe Hell Custom that I might just Customize myself, if I can get round to it that is! XD
Any tips for a beginner?

Thanks, glad you liked it. It's been one of my favorite Gundams of all time and I just had to make a custom Ver. Ka for myself.
The actual color scheme of Heavyarms was red, but most Ver. Ka conversions used lighter red-orange tone based on the Katoki illustrations.
If you are going to make a custom kit, one of the useful things you can use in making custom parts is thin polystyrene sheets. It's a thin plastic sheet you can cut and shape depending on the part you want to customize. Also, you can use polyester putty in filling gaps or adding tiny extensions on existing parts. Another is bashing another kit or 'kit bashing' as it is called, it is practically cutting pieces or parts from other kits to be used as your custom parts.

Yes! The blue colors were pretty blah.
(Then again, the bright orange makes you a target...)

Very nice! I like that you used a somewhat darker, toned-down shade of red.

Really sweet mod!
Is the gattling gun resin casted or is it from another kit?

The Gatling gun and the tank were all scratch built. I used thin polystyrene sheet for the fabrication and putty for the non-flat surface. The build took two weeks to complete, I'm just glad it turned out alright.

Really? Cool! How'd you bend the plates to make a cylinder? I'm also planning a mod like this for Wing Zero Custom and I need to make a shield and mod the rifle. D:

To make the cylinder tank I used a compass cutter to cut out 2 circular plates, then I glued them together with internal supports to make the basic cylindrical frame of the tank. Then, I just covered the sides with a rolled sheet of thin polystyrene. The round top of the tank was made from putty. In building the Wing Zero custom I think you'll need to apply a little heat to soften the plate enough to make the curves for the shield, or you can sculpt it out of putty entirely.
As for the Gatling gun, I used parts of the actual gun of the kit and rebuilt the body from polystyrene sheet.
It'll be very cool if you can get started with your mod. I'm also thinking of converting my 1/144 Wing Zero kit to ver. Ka, but I think I'll work on that some other time. Good luck with your project!
